but i'm back now just trying to recuperate and catch up on the MOUNDS of stuff i have put up and also work on getting the house decorated for christmas. so last week we went to my parents house for thanksgiving this year and had a blast. the drive up was a little painful because just after brandon mention how the drive was going great and we were only about 40 miles to our destination, we mit MAJOR traffic and i was quickly reminded of one of the reasons why i do not want to move back to the washington dc area. but after two hours of sitting in traffic and totally messing up our almost record breaking travel time, we made it safe and sound to my parents house last tuesday.
packed up and ready to go!
one of many stops at panera
parker had a blast keeping his grandmommy and grandpa busy and connor loved being totally spoiled.
brandon kicked off thanksgiving morning by making what i call "4 hour breakfast casserole" because it takes FOREVER to make. it was VERY GOOD though and i enjoyed it especially since i didn't have to make it :-)
after breakfast, we went to the turkey farm to get our turkey. parker loved it!
parker playing outside...my parents have a GREAT backyard for active toddlers!
me and my boys!
the boys in their thanksgiving turkey shirts i made them...
thanksgiving dinner with my husband making a goofy face....
friday i was supposed to meet up with my friend erica and her family, but she ended up getting sick and had to cancel. we missed seeing you guys! BUT i did get to see my friend kristin and her boys on saturday....we hadn't seen each other in over two years! parker had a BLAST playing with aiden and connor and peyton were very curious about each other!
look at these sweet boys!
and these guys too! how cute! i think they're holding hands!
thanks kristin and chris for having us over to your gorgeous new house!
ok, i'm going to relax with my hubby (and the dvr!) BUT i will post all about my christmas bazar tomorrow!
